Members of the Lundgaard Laboratory recently presented talks regarding some of their cutting-edge methods and results at the Oslo Brain Fluid Symposium 2024. Dr. Iben Lundgaard provided an overview of the laboratory’s multimodal, multi-species work investigating routes of tracer efflux in rodents, pigs and humans to high spatial and temporal resolution, while Dr. Jari Jukkola delved into the current and potential roles of preclinical magnetic resonance imaging for mapping tracer efflux in rodents. Dr. Kelley Swanberg presented data supporting a novel proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy-based method for examining glymphatic solute clearance without tracer injection. Thank you to symposium organizers Dr. Kaja Nordengen, Dr. Kent-Andre Mardal and colleagues for an excellent conference!
