Evidence of disturbed cerebral lactate homeostasis in aquaporin-4 knockout mouse models of extravascular brain fluid stagnation’ at the Oxford Glymphatic and Brain Clearance Symposium 2026! This award, associated with a 500 GBP prize, was competitively awarded based on anonymous judgment of poster content and presentation and stands among only 10 awardees among 180+ posters presented at the conference.

This work represents a step forward in Dr. Swanberg’s project ‘Ett icke-invasivt mätbart metaboliskt tecken på glymfatisk aktivitet i hjärnan‘, which has received support from Sten K Johnsons stiftelse, Tore Nilsons Stiftelse för medicinsk forskning, Stiftelsen Thelma Zoegas fond för medicinsk forskning and Crafoordska stiftelsen.
